This is number two in a series with Rabbi Shlomo Gemara, a Talmud scholar and an Agnon specialist. He is a brilliant storyteller with a passion for the Jewish people, the Torah and God. And he is in a constant state of awe. What a wonderful man to listen to. There are very few spiritual leaders, this inspiring. Every minute is packed with wisdom.

Harvey Brownstone, former judge, author and now the host of his own talk show with the stars, speaks with Avrum Rosensweig about his growing up years, coming out as a 'faygela' (sort of Yiddish for 'gay'), the Jews in the world today, and interviews he has done with the greats like Robert Wagner. A fascinating schooze. Well worth listening to.

Susie, masterfully and as a great storyteller, informs the viewer about a solidarity mission for women, she took to southern Israel late February. There she met with evacuees from kibbutzim and other such places; heard from parents whose children were murdered by terrorist on October 7th, picked grapefruits for farmers whose foreign workers had gone home, and visited the site of the music fest where young Israelis were slaughtered. Susie is highly inspirational and hopeful. The Avrum Rosensweig Show: The podcast with fascinating people who have inspiring stories to share.

Magical Hockey In Israel & An On-Ice Triumph in Bulgaria
Wednesday Feb 07, 2024
Wednesday Feb 07, 2024
THE AVRUM ROSENSWEIG SHOW: In this interview I schmooze with Levav Weinstein, the former president of the Hockey Israel Federation. Levav, an apple farmer in northern Israel, "meters from Lebanon" talks about his upbringing in Metulla as hockey began to flourish there. We hear about summer hockey clinics managed at the Canada Centre, by former NHL coach, Roger Nielson (RIP), former Leaf, Darryl Sittler and others. We are also privy to the most recent IIHF tournament in Bulgaria, how Israel was banned from it, then reinstated, then was victorious. This is a refreshing interview (even though Levav doesn't like the Leafs). :) The Avrum Rosensweig Show: The podcast with fascinating people and their inspirational stories.

Monday Feb 05, 2024
Monday Feb 05, 2024
On THE AVRUM ROSENSWEIG SHOW, Rabbi Daniel Korobkin, the senior rabbi at Beth Avraham Yosef Synagogue in Toronto, discusses his translation of the very magical twelfth century sefer (hebrew: book), the Kuzari written by poet, Rabbi Yehuda HaLevi. The Kuzari is in the form of a most compelling story, a dialogue between a king and a sage who discuss Judaism and faith vs. Greek philosophy. In this interview, Rabbi Korobkin also discusses October 7th, and the aftermath of Israel's war on Gaza and the diaspora's response to it. The Avrum Rosensweig Show with Renowned Author, Hillel Halkin

Watch this interview with Hillel Halkin. Hillel has translated over thirty books, written novels and most recently released a book called: A Complicated Jew: Selected Essays. In our interview he tells amazing stories about spending time with Amos Oz, who he translated a book for. You'll hear insight scoops on Hillel's ballsy move to write on behalf of Shalom Aleichem, out of necessity. There is much to take away from in my schmooze with Hillel Halkin, especially the pure old-time view of Zionism and the State of Israel.
